Students will use open-ended toys during play centers throughout the day. These toys will promote cooperation and imaginative play, improve their social skills, increase mathematical development. Open-ended toys like blocks, Magnatiles, or puzzles, encourage imaginative play, language, and fine- and gross motor skill development.
My students will build skyscrapers with blocks or a corral for their pony. They will improve their language skills and incorporate problem-solving techniques while playing with each other. By including clear bins to store our toys, I will give my students the control and agency in their play.
