My students do not have computers or internet service at home. Because I teach the lowest performing students in the grade level, they are functioning at different academic levels. Chromebooks will help with differentiated lessons as well as extra help after school. This will also afford a small group to work independently on a lesson that is catered to their needs. We use the online programs iReady, Reading Eggs, Spelling City, Cool Math, Math Seeds, PebbleGo, and that's just to name a few. Usually my students' computer time is limited, but if we get a donation of Chromebooks, that can change. I will be able to provide more differentiated learning to meet the students' needs.
