When kindergartners are hungry, they don't want to learn, they want to eat! With crackers, fruit snacks, and rice crispy treat minis, you will help increase student focus and engagement during our mid-day science, social studies, and math blocks.
These snacks will provide students with the boost of energy and excitement that they need to make it over hurdles of time where they have to wait for the next meal. For 5 and 6 year olds, who generally have a very fast metabolism, the stretch between the end of lunch at 11:30 a.m. and dismissal at 3:10 p.m. is too long to go without eating. Snacks also help in the mornings for those students who happen to miss breakfast. With your donation, you will turn frowns upside down, and my students will be grateful!
