My classroom is not equipped with computers. Having a set of Chromebooks would make a HUGE difference for my students. They would be able to use them on a daily basis in research, productivity, and basic keyboarding skills. It would alleviate the time spent walking from the classroom to the computer lab only to have to end an activity early just to walk back to the classroom. All that time wasted just takes away from student learning.
Most of my students don't have access to a computer at home, and I believe having a few in the classroom would be beneficial to their daily life. When students move on to higher grades, where I know technology is being used, they would have at least the basic knowledge of using a laptop or computer.
Please help our classroom achieve our goal! It would be greatly appreciated.
