My students come from very humble backgrounds. All students at my school receive free breakfast and lunch due to their economic backgrounds. My school is a very humble school with greatly inspired teachers and administrators. I love my school! I'm lucky. We are nestled just 15 minutes outside of downtown Los Angeles that has been historically gangs and violence. However, we are make great strides in making our community a great example of what quality schools can do to a community. Our city is currently listed as one of the "up & coming" communities to live in all of the U.S.
