The 60+ students I teach daily in my ELA focused classroom devour books and are constantly looking for the next thing to read and share within their classroom community. I am looking to provide them with new book club books that are current with today's interests and spark a new love of adventure as a reader. The white board tables will help them take their book clubs thinking even further with the space to be able to communicate their discussions and literature exploration through pictures, diagrams, and words. The possibilities are truly endless.
I think it is important to have reading materials that are not only relatable to their age, but will create organic discussions within their groups, fostering imagination, inquiry, and growth.
By donating these literature sets and white board tables, you are providing my students with the tools to achieve this and go above and beyond with their thinking during book clubs. I ask for your support to help us change the game of what book clubs can be and look like in the classroom!
