Curious. Knowledgeable. Outgoing. Shy. Loud. Quiet. Full of wonder, full of life. These are my students, and they deserve the best education possible. Many of my students view school as their 'safe place'. When given the chance to be in a comfortable environment, they grow not only as learners, but as people as well. I am fortunate enough to see my students take risks, take chances, and learn from these experiences. Most of my students are dealing with struggles that no fourth grader should have to worry about. It is due to these struggles, that my students do not expect many of the 'extras' or 'fun' things in life. It is my job, and with your help, to let my class know that they are worth it. They are worth the extras. They are worth the fun. They are worth the necessities to increase their education. Just because they attend in inner-city school in MA does not mean they are any less valuable than any other 10 year old. Let's give my students this brand new opportunity to become the best!
