My 6th grade Special Education English Language Arts class is currently working on sharpening their reading and writing skills. By the end of the year, they will be able to apply these skills to every day life. My school is a Title 1 middle school in New Jersey, and we do not have many supplies available to us. We offer a wide variety of programs (EX: Renaissance Program and after school tutoring) to help students succeed. The students come from a variety of economic backgrounds and have many different needs when they arrive at school in the morning. What all these students need is help in fostering a love of learning that will continue through adulthood.

About my class
