My Pre-Kindergarten students must build their vocabulary and language-arts skills. A colorful and print rich environment can significantly increase my student’s retention, willingness to interact and learn. This year 100% of my students are at risk and underprivileged. Many of my students are creative visual learners, therefore a color laser printer, ink, and card stock paper will enhance their learning space and help develop their language skills and vocabulary. The printer will be utilized to publish student work, pictures, and vocabulary words for the word-wall. In addition, I will print literacy and math station mats that will be used with real world objects to help my students transform the way they perceive and store information. A classroom filled with student work and pictures, is motivating, empowering, and energizing. I am sure that with your help I can inspire further advancement in projects both in my classroom and school. Thank you for your support!
