I am lucky to be able to say that I was on the founding faculty of one of the largest urban school district's finest schools (although my opinion may be biased). Now in our fourth year, I have been blessed to watch students grow from silly, unsure freshmen into young men and women who will be off to college next year! I teach at a small school, 300 students in grades 9-12, where we get the benefits of bonding like a family. Unfortunatley we miss out on some of the resources that larger schools can boast of. Still, we do what we can, and the vast majority of our students have college in mind. It is with the help of organizations like this that we get the best of all worlds!
