I teach a self contained special education classroom. My students average a few grade levels developmentally and cognitively below their peers. They want to be around their age level peers but have a hard time keeping up academically. My classroom is slowly becoming a classroom where we can incorporate hands on learning to help boost their math and literacy skills while also empowering my students to be independent. I love my kiddos and I love being able to give them the best change at a normal, independent life!
