Our school is in the middle of a very diverse community. Many come from homes where English is not their first language. My school lies in a socioeconomic district with working class families. More than 90% of the children are free or reduced lunch. Many of my students tell me that they do not visit the community library so it is up to me to create an environment that will entice every student who walks into my SUPER Library! My goal is that when students from grades PreK-5 enter my room they develop a love of reading and writing. I want to provide all of the students that visit my library an exciting and interactive experience that will engage them and make them eager to want to read and write daily!
