Busy, inquisitive, precious, and hungry for knowledge are all words I would use to describe my gifted and talented students. Their desire to learn is unlike any I have seen in my seventeen years of teaching. Being a primarily rural school, though, and in a state currently in proration, our funding has been severely cut over the past four years. Our students' families are working class families who support our school to the best of their ability, but their personal incomes have also been hurt.
