We are a Title 1 school. As I've asked students and parents, approximately 50% of my students have access to the Internet at home. Many use television as a babysitter instead of a medium for news communication. We currently have a class of 21 students, although it fluctuates with such a transient population. Less than half of the students proved proficient in Language Arts last year. We love to learn, but sometimes need an extra push to get us where we need to be.
