My students attend a school with dedicated teachers who are fighting hard to close the achievement gap in our country. Unfortunately, we do not always have the necessary supplies and materials to help facilitate learning within our classrooms. I currently teach Kindergarten in a Title I public school in Baltimore City. My classroom is also part of the Partners Program, a full-inclusion experience for children with autism or developmental delays. Students have the opportunity to participate in a general education classroom, while also receiving additional support through a special education co-teaching model. Children with and without Individualized Education Programs receive grade-appropriate instruction in a highly structured, routines-based classroom that uses evidence-based practices and supports.
Please consider donating to my projects to help the incredible children of Baltimore!
