Our community is one of the most economically, ethnically and culturally diverse areas in the Southern California region. This unique school offers immersion education in one of two target languages - Spanish or Japanese. As we continue to face increased budget cuts, our science, technology, and art programs have been significantly reduced and our school relies heavily on community and parental resources in order to bring these subjects to the children as often as possible. Our class focuses on Spanish immersion with approximately half of the students as non-native learners. Each child brings a diverse set of experiences to the classroom and collectively they are a dynamic and inquisitive group.
