My students that are ninety-seven percent Latino and come from a Limited English background. These A.P. Chemistry kits will provide the hands-on experience that will enrich and highlight their understanding.
Not only will this allow my students to acquire the concept knowledge necessary, but it will help them practice and enhance their mathematical thinking and critical skills needed to succeed in any STEM career.
It will allow my students to go from theory to practice successfully. A positive experience is unforgettable and hopefully through this impacting experience, not only will my students retain and succeed through A.P. Chemistry, but also be able to pass the mandated test to receive University Science Credit.
