We saw their darting eyes as they went from tab-to-tab as many of my students stayed in bed, now it's time to turn the page to engage! They won't be watching YouTube and playing Among Us during class this year unless I SAY SO!
Last year, you helped maintain my students' interests by providing some extra materials to assist with distance learning, now I'm asking you to spread the love to bring some new yum-yums back to the classroom. I'm bringing Comprehensible Input back to the Classroom!
The students missed out on so much speaking last year that the focus will on speaking for the first part of the semester. When I mentioned this at the end of the year, I could see the fear in their eyes, hear the quake in their voices, smell the apprehension in their pheromones. The material from Teachers Pay Teachers will help to put their minds at ease and fill them with the confidence they need to speak French as fluently as Joey Trebiani in that one Friends episode, only better...(Actually, they'll speak more like Lisa Kudrow who is actually fluent...)
