The garden hosing will be used to replace sections of existing hosing where leaks have been detected. The hosing carries water from the school building to the garden area. Sections of the hosing have been repaired three times this school year. We also use the hosing to add to the rain barrels we use for our drip irrigation system when we do not get adequate rainfall. It is also used to water our fruit trees and compost bins. Currently, we do not have any rakes in our garden supplies. Adding this tool will help the students with garden clean up and maintenance.
