Play helps a child build confidence, feel loved, happy, and safe, develop social skills, language, and communication skills, learn about caring for others and the environment, develop physical skills, and connect and refine pathways in their brains. Because young children learn through play, they need educational toys to encourage engagement and reinforce the skills they are being taught. 鈥淚n order to grow and learn, the human brain needs to be stimulated by sensory experiences鈥 a child needs to see, touch, hear, taste, and smell to play, explore, and experiment.鈥 -Vea Vecchi
