I am currently the 6th grade teacher at Beasley Academic Center CPS in the Washington Park Area on Chicago's south side. Every morning when I see my student's smiling faces and the eagerness in their eyes to learn, I am reminded of the oath I took more than 10 years ago when I became a teacher. My scholars are counting on me to help them grow mentally, socially, and academically. With the eagerness of my students to learn along with the experience I bring into the classroom, I know that my students will grow tremendously by the end of the year. With a limited school budget, we are requesting some assistance to obtain some of the learning tools to make this possible. I am hoping that generous donors will be able to take part in bringing joyous, enriching learning experiences to my students.

About my class
