My students are bright, curious, and full of potential. Many face challenges such as speech and language delays, learning disabilities, and emotional needs, and we also have several English as a Second Language (ESL) learners in our class. We are a Title I school located in a low-income area of the Lower East Side of New York City, serving both Special Education and General Education students in grades Pre-K through 5. Despite these challenges, my students come to school eager to learn and grow, and with the right resources, they can thrive both academically and socially.
