Many of my students are non-verbal and have limited access to alternative communication systems. Most of my students do not have personal communication devices to use in the classroom. These tablets will be utilized on a daily basis for students to access and communicate using AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) software to be downloaded onto the tablets. With the portability of these tablets, we can utilize them in the classroom and beyond as we venture out for community based instruction where students have opportunities to interact with real world learning. Above all, these devices will give my students more autonomy, which is often surrendered to the extensive support of others. Thank You!
