This project is an effort to help jumpstart our computer science class at our school. Without adequate access to reliable computers, a computer science class would be hobbled from the beginning. We're trying to find avenues where we can meet the needs of the students in the most productive ways possible. This Computer Science class will provide students with experience and skills applicable to the real world today as they learn to program with Python. The class will be totally online, so chromebooks are the ideal device for the task. We are looking to furnish a class set of chromebooks, and Donors Choose is one of the avenues we are using to make this dream a reality. This class and your support will be deeply impactful on the presents and futures of so many students who have the odds seemingly stacked against them.
