The students at my location are top-notch scholars. All classes are either AP and Honors level, and because of this, the students are very academically-driven. Because of the level of my students academic ability, they are able to comprehend music topics not normally taught in school, such as music technology. In addition to music technology, I believe that my students will be able to learn instruments (ukulele and guitar). at a much quicker pace. My students are able to understand and comprehend cross-curricular units between music and the numerous topics taught at my location.
The students in the second location I teach are much younger, grades K-8. These students while still younger than the other students, are still able to understand challenging, grade level-appropriate topics. My students will be be up and moving, performing Off arrangements, playing ukulele, hand percussion, Boomwhackers.
