My students have a lot of energy and enthusiasm. They are excited about learning. We have a classroom that we try to have hands on learning. We study bugs and plants, so we have insects and plants in our room, even a tarantula. The students love real life learning. At this age they are starting to identify what things they like and dislike. They are also developing attitudes towards school and reading.
Our school is a neighborhood school in an urban area. Many families struggle to make ends meet. Parents want their children to succeed and want to help them. Our school tries to work with the parents to encourage them in the educational process.
