My students are elementary school special education students with moderate to severe disabilities. My students are generally visual learners. They learn by seeing, hearing, and experiencing things first hand. Learning is meaningful to my academically challenged students when there are opportunities for me to present instruction through multiple methods. Mt students are motivated by hands on activities that support smooth delivery of instruction, student engagement, and participation. Our curriculum, Unique Learning Systems, is web-based. We use technology and student need-based resources to motivate, educate, and support student excitement in learning.
