Most of the students at my Title 1 school are from low-income homes. Many of the students at this school are from Hispanic migrant families. More than 85% of them participate in the free lunch program. Most have very few life experiences and background knowledge that would enhance their understanding of the subject matter being taught at school. My personal goal as an educator at this school is to enrich student's lives with real experiences, and develop in them a lifelong love of learning.
