My students need hands on experience in using this great tool to help them understand the concepts being taught. By having a class set of calculators they will get the hands on experience to be able to show that they can do anything those who have more economic advantages can do. I have tried using a digital version but have found that nothing can match actually holding the tool in their hands and being able to really see everything and also to not have to rely on laptops. I believe that knowing how to use the calculator properly will increase the scores of my students on not only their state exams at the end of my class but also on the SAT and other tests.
