SYSTEMS: Numerous times a day kids flick a switch and "whala" our devices come "alive." The kids explore energy, electrons, charges, electricity, currents and circuits to understand how we have been able to control electric current to help us and entertain us in our daily lives.
The kids explore and learn basic electricity and what our lives would be without it. Through numerous hands on activities, such balloons creating static electricity, lights in a jar, building your own flashlights and "littlebit" snap circuits they begin to understand simple circuits and the flow of electrical current.
Electricity is the "thread" that bines our diverse working world together--once kids understand how electricity works, they will begin to invent new ways to generate it and CONSERVE it!!
