At present, I have 10 amazing students (K-2nd grade) with Autism Spectrum Disorder on my roster. Our access to regular ed. resources, curriculum and basic teaching material is limited. Our dedicated staff, manage to address individual instructional needs & classroom maintenance, in an atmosphere enhanced by a wonderfully positive creativity. My once trusty Casio-keyboard (seen in the background) is on its last legs. Music, created with student input, is the medium that initiates, directs and accompanies much of our daily schedule, including transitions & academic learning. The soundtrack of our day encourages counting activities, social behavior practice, self-help/daily-living progress, writing, movement and dramatic play. Fostering individual expression and building valuable skills is the goal that drives this unique project. Help us make it a reality! We look forward to showing you truly remarkable results!
