My fourth grade students are an energetic bunch! I've transformed my classroom to provide them alternative/flexible seating options, including standing desks and benches throughout my room. Yet, direct instruction does often take place as they sit in traditional chairs at their desks.
I watch daily as many students fidget uncomfortably, clearly distracted from their learning. Children need to be comfortable to remain motivated and engaged. These wobble chairs would be an EXCELLENT addition to our classroom, and provide several students the opportunity to remain engaged and focused on the lesson, as they wobble away their wiggles. I appreciate your consideration!
