My students will utilize their interactive science notebooks for up to three full years at Arsenal. The materials needed for this project will make sure they every student has access to the resources needed to be high achievers in not only my science classroom, but in their future academic careers. Each page of their notebook will document learning so students can refer back to any time in their learning cycle. It will provide a resource to help them study, organize their thoughts and questions, as well as log their work to showcase to both their peers and anyone taking a glimpse into what they are learning in my science class.
This project will be something that will benefit every student that enters my classroom will not have to worry about their financial resources so can focus on what matters, learning and doing science. Using glue sticks, scissors, markers, colored pencils, and their notebooks daily brings to life their learning by connecting it to what is important them. It will allow students a balance between creativity, learning, and questioning as they journey through middle science.
