I am an elementary Autistic Support teacher of a K-5 self-contained classroom in a rural school district in Western Pennsylvania. This classroom was created last school year to serve students in need of this program's services within their home district. My students range in cognitive, functional, and academic abilities, and learn best in an environment that offers hands-on learning opportunities using frequent, positive reinforcement. Your generosity and thoughtfulness will allow my students to work and learn in a supportive environment that operates on a minimal budget but with extensive, high learner needs.
