As an English teacher, my job encompasses the whole of human knowledge---because students can't succeed in any of their classes without sufficient language skills. So whether they're struggling at a first-grade reading level or fully prepared for a top university, I need to grow their capacity and expand their understanding. This requires fleetness of mind (working on it!) and flexibility of instruction. When I make requests of ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½, it's to increase my flexibility. Something that makes me more capable of meeting students where they stand today is something that makes me a more effective teacher.
