I teach 8th grade U.S. History in a small urban middle school located in a high-need community in the Bay Area. In the past 5 years that I have taught at this school, the teaching staff and the local community have witnessed significant academic and behavioral improvements in our students. Our school district has repeatedly promoted our school as a model of progressive improvements for other inner-city middle schools within our district. Please help us to continue on our path of success!!!
