Our classroom truly is where the fun stuff happens! We are currently in the progress of changing the game of PE from being sports-driven to skills-driven! Our focus is to learn different skills that we can apply towards numerous activities such as sports or recreational activities.
My main goal is to make sure that I give my students the ability to not only be active while in the school-age years but for the rest of their lives. To be physically literate is to have the physical and cognitive skills to perform in any manner that they wish, whether it be on a school sports team to recreational activities with their friends and families. In PE, we not only learn how to play but we also learn how to play well and fair with one another to be contributing members of society one day. Physical Education is more than a class, it's a way of life!
