The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students already have a "place." In other words, I know exactly where everything will go. We need your help in getting everything through our door!
The donations to this project will help improve my students' experience during the flexible seating model that we will have this year.
I asked for portable lap desks, bean bags, round floor cushions and kids balanced balls to create different learning environments within the classroom. This will allow students to select their place of learning based on their characteristics, subjects, or feelings each day. Also I asked for a cabinet to organize the material used by the students since they are not going to have a place to leave them.
I have also asked for a machine and materials to be able to label and mark all the places, environments and materials of the students. This will allow them to work in a more orderly way and will help them in their learning.
As the teacher, I have done extensive research and reading on Flexible Seating in the elementary grades. By implementing the flexible seating model, my students will begin to be more independent. We will use these materials to aid us in the process of becoming more responsible for our workplace. Yet, I truly need your support to make this a reality. Thanks!
