Each student would receive a pack of color markers that fit into their desks and binders and can be easily brought out for note-taking and critical thinking.
We use specific colors for our note-taking to show understanding (yellow), to ask questions (red), to add to our notes (blue), for glossary terms (green), for citations and quotes (orange), and for predictions and summaries (black). Different colors help establish crucial connections to our brains, and this helps students to dive in deeper to what they are reading. This is essential for critical thinking and understanding our world around us. Thank you for your time!
