My students come from low socio-economic backgrounds across the New York area. In addition, they struggle with emotional difficulties accompanied with other forms of various disabilities. My students are a great bunch of kids who show the willingness to learn. However, the lack of resources in the school keep the students from achieving their full potential. Our school is a branch campus of a public school, which leads to low funding or "leftover" supplies. We are strictly a Special Education school, with a focus on students with Autism and Intellectual Disabilities.
