Students at my school are absolutely amazing. MAWSECO Education Center is a special education cooperative of seven sending school districts. We are about an hour west of the Minneapolis Metro Area in Minnesota. Our school has students ranging from kindergarten to 21 years old. They are some of the most optimistic and kind souls you will ever meet. High-fives abound in our classes and everyone is welcome. I am incredibly lucky to get to spend my days with these students working on effective communication, positive and proactive problem-solving skills, fiscal responsibility, independent living, and a strong commitment to personnel development. Every day is a new challenge and our students are up to the task. Our students are #mAWsEco AWESOME and they continually amaze us with their skills and abilities.
