My students are 7th and 8th graders, many of whom are taking band for the very first time. There's about 120 students in band at our school, 35 in choir, and 35 in a guitar class, and I teach all of them! Our school is primarily a low socio-economic make up in California, so many of our families cannot afford to go out and rent an instrument. We always have a great need for new instruments and supplies for our students to use.
