Hello, my name is Kevin McKeown, and I am the Director of Bands at Santa Monica High School (Samohi). We have a large program that reaches students of all levels, including our Samohi "Viking" Marching Band. The band, established in 1916, has one of the most diverse student populations on our campus, and I am proud of the high level of achievement they get out of working together every morning at 7 a.m.! I am also very proud of their character and effort, and it's my privilege to advocate on their behalf. Thank you in advance for your consideration of funds towards our program.
