My students attend a Title I school with 100% of our students receiving free breakfast and lunch. Many of our students come to school feeling hungry, but my students have an even stronger hunger for learning. Despite their conditions at home, every day they come to school with big smile and a big sparkle in their eyes ready to learn. They are a wonderful group of first graders. They love school, and they get excited about learning.
