We are bringing our FIRST robotics teams into the classroom and we need to improve our machining capabilities. We are asking for a Dayton TK16861354T Mill/Drill Machine, R8 collet set and end mills to allow us to push students farther in their machining capabilities. We are constantly trying to machine parts, correctly locate holes and we struggle with making the pieces we need. Our plan is to create new classes that both middle/high school, general/special education students will be able to take that support our robotics team, but also get students ready for future manufacturing and STEM careers. Our goal is to create a partnership with a local Technical School to get students credit at that school for their work in high school. Here is what we are working for: TK16861354T MillDrill Machine 1-12 Motor HP 16 Swing 1725 RPM End Mill Set, 20 pieces 2 & 4 Flute, TiN coated HSS Steelex M1079 R-8 Collet Set
