We are a charter school in Southern Florida. After a collaboration between a couple of the grade teachers we realized the talent in our school that was not being nurtured.
I currently co-teach with the wonderful Ms. Dina Tosto and have 40 wonderful students. We both also run the school chorus. Our students have such a need and eagerness to learn but don't always have the supplies.
Our school is located square in the middle of a very dense Caribbean population with many different languages and cultures mixing into our area. I serve my own 4th grade classroom with all my might and then stay after and work with my chorus every week. We strive to give everyone who wants to learn the chance to come sing, listen, live and love the music that we can create.
