I am very fortunate to have an amazing group of students. Their insatiable thirst for knowledge is what inspires me to seek out innovative ways to make learning in our classroom entertaining and meaningful. What I love most about them is their inquisitiveness and eagerness to learn new things. They love anything dealing with STEAM and project days are intense.
Our school is Title 1 with 95% of our students receiving free or reduced lunch. We also have high populations of homeless and foster students. In spite of having limited materials at school and limited resources in the area where they live, they are always happy to come to school and embrace those challenges as a driving force to do their best.
