We need to show students slides, and listening and visual examples of how to play their instruments.
Since we are set up in the auditorium, due to a growing enthusiasm for the music department, and also a lack of space, we need a way to present examples through audio and visual means. A portable smart board is too expensive but a projector can be a great substitute.
The students will be able to see examples from favorite musicians, can see videos of correct instrumental technique, can see how examples of correct notation, and also be able to take advantage of smart music technology, which lets students interact with software, such as Ableton and Smart music.
