In 2006, when I moved from Nebraska to Louisiana to become a science teacher at a small, rural public high school, I could never have imagined how far my students would have to go to be prepared for the world academically. Fortunately, I've come to enjoy the challenge of impacting the teenagers I'm blessed to teach to grow as young scientists and lifelong learners. Though my students often come from poor families and often have very unstable backgrounds and home situations, they are quite brilliant and motivated. They love the challenge of solving problems and advancing their education to new levels. That's why I appreciate your support, as your gifts enable my students and I to do more. Thanks for your consideration and help in support of my school, my classroom, and my students.
