My students will learn how to install a drip irrigation system while learning how to conserve water. The drip irrigation system will be used to water the vegetables. The students will also have the opportunity to prepare a budget and be able to apply math with real-life applications. The drip irrigation system will help students develop life skills by measuring how much piping they will need. Students will also be able to use the skills they will learn from installing a drip irrigation system at home whether installing a new drip irrigation system or by repairing an existing system.
